On December 3, 2024, the Youth League Committee of the College of Marine Science and Engineering of Shanghai Maritime University, the Youth League Committee of the College of Marine Biological Resources and Management of Shanghai Ocean University, the Youth League Committee of China Maritime Museum and the Youth League Committee of Waigaoqiao Marine Engineering Co., LTD., held the signing ceremony of the Youth League organization.
Lu Bichao, Secretary of the Waigaoqiao Sea Work League Committee, expressed a sincere and warm welcome to the visit of the Sea series of delegations, and the co-construction units and delegations carried out in-depth and detailed exchanges and discussions on the basic situation, development history and characteristic activities of their own league organizations, sharing experience and learning from each other.
Under the witness of Lingang New Area Youth League Working Committee and Waigaoqiao Marine Engineering Party Committee, the signing process went smoothly. The representatives of the Youth League Committee solemnly signed the co-construction agreement, which not only embodies the firm belief of all parties to work together for common development, but also provides a solid institutional guarantee for future in-depth cooperation and resource sharing. All parties said that they will take this signing as an opportunity to continuously deepen the friendship and cooperation between each other, strive to build a broader learning and practice platform for the growth and development of young people, help young people achieve comprehensive development, and contribute youth power to the construction and development of Marine industry and Lingang new area.
Before the meeting, the participants also visited the upper structure of the 114,000 ton crude oil tanker of Waigaoqiao Offshore Engineering, and felt the magnificence and exquisite skills of Marine engineering at close range, further deepening the knowledge and understanding of Marine science and technology and industrial development.
