In order to deeply understand students' online game behavior, master effective methods to prevent addiction to games, and jointly promote the healthy growth of students, on November 29, the College of Marine Science and Engineering organized all full-time and part-time counselors in the 306 conference room of the college to carry out business learning with the theme of games are not addicted to life is not NG. This business study was led by teacher Zhu Diyu.
Teacher Zhu first shared the current status and characteristics of college students' online game behavior, pointing out the negative impact of addiction to games on students' study, life and mental health. Teacher Zhu also combined with specific cases to vividly demonstrate the serious consequences of addiction to games for students, and guided the counselors to think about how to effectively identify and intervene in students' addiction to games in their daily work. She then elaborated on strategies and methods to prevent addiction to games, including strengthening home-school cooperation, cooperating with tutors, and guiding students to arrange their time reasonably. In the exchange and discussion session, the counselors had a heated discussion on how to better guide the students to arrange the game time reasonably and how to improve the students' self-management ability.
Finally, Dong Chaoqun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, encouraged the counselors to constantly innovate their working methods, actively use new media platforms and other channels to strengthen communication and exchange with students, and timely find and solve the problems of students in online games. He also reminded counselors to pay attention to students' mental health needs and provide them with necessary psychological support and help.
