In order to cultivate the culture of integrity, strengthen the awareness of academic integrity of the freshmen of 2024 graduate students, give play to the exemplary and leading role of graduate party members in all students, and further educate and guide all graduate students to abide by academic ethics and promote excellent learning style, on November 22, the College of Marine Science and Engineering held a theoretical study meeting on academic integrity of 2024 graduate students in the lecture hall of the Aviation Section Building.
Representatives of key scientific research students of each specialty and all 24 graduate party members attended the meeting.
The meeting first organized all participants to watch the integrity warning education film Warm water boiling frog. Subsequently, Fan Xuanyu led the study, and guided all students to abide by academic ethics and academic integrity with various academic misconduct education, practicing the fine quality of honesty and integrity, bearing in mind the precepts, virtue and discipline, and being promising. The participants made speeches in the ensuing discussion, saying that scientific and technological innovation is the destiny of the country, the need for the development situation and the trend of The Times.
Academic integrity is the cornerstone of scientific and technological innovation, and it is also an important basis for implementing the innovation-driven development strategy and realizing the goal of becoming a world scientific and technological power.
The Academic Integrity theoretical Study meeting for 2024 graduate students is one of the series activities of the School of Marine Science and Engineering's 2024 Academic Style Construction Month. This graduate study style construction month has been widely concerned and supported by the leaders, teachers and students of HSI. Through this academic integrity theory study, students have a deeper understanding of academic integrity. Not only to remind the students to maintain a good academic attitude, but also to actively supervise and report the misconduct of others, assume the responsibility and mission of graduate students, and grow into qualified successors in the scientific research field of the new era.
