In order to further strengthen the cognition and understanding of the history and culture of Shanghai and feel the key role of the party leadership in the development of Shanghai, on November 16, the Party branch of the graduate students of Shipbuilding and Marine Structures of the College of Marine Science and Engineering organized a free visit to the Shanghai History Museum. This activity aims to guide graduate party members to remember history, inherit red genes, and further enhance party spirit and historical responsibility through the reproduction and on-site experience of history.
Entering the Shanghai History Museum, everyone started the learning journey with reverence. From the ancient origins of Shanghai, the urban development in the Ming and Qing dynasties, to the prosperity and struggle after the opening of the port in modern times, and then to the great achievements of modernization, the exhibition hall fully demonstrates the magnificent development of the city. The students carefully visited the exhibition hall, through the precious historical relics, vivid pictures and touching historical stories, feel the thick history and the glory of the city. In the modern exhibition hall, the focus was on the exhibition area related to the revolutionary activities of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai. From the convening of the Communist Party of China to the rise of the workers' movement, from the victory of the Anti-Japanese War to the success of the liberation War, these vivid historical moments make every Party member deeply realize the great significance of the Party. The members of the branch stopped to discuss in front of one precious exhibit after another, and felt the great course of Shanghai from suffering to brilliance under the leadership of the Party.
Through the visit, everyone deeply realized that the development of Shanghai cannot be separated from the correct leadership of the Party and the hard work of the people. Party members have said that as graduate party members in the new era, they should not only keep in mind the glorious history of the Party, but also pass on this spirit, actively play the vanguard and exemplary role of party members, and contribute to social development with practical actions. This visit and study not only deepened everyone's understanding of history, but also made everyone deeply appreciate the great spirit of the Party, and further enhanced the sense of responsibility and mission as party members. It is believed that through this activity, the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the Party branch will be further enhanced, and the members of the branch will certainly contribute to the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with more firm faith and more high morale.
