In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Party's 20th National Congress and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, guide the majority of youth members to combine theoretical study with practice, and aspire to be a good young person in the new era who has ideals, dares to take on responsibilities, can bear hardships, and is willing to struggle. From October 30 to November 15, 2024, the two-week Youth League School of the College of Marine Science and Engineering came to a successful end.
This Youth League school is mainly for the new secretary of the league branch of the college, league committee officers, applicants to join the league, focusing on the party's innovative theory and basic knowledge of the league, covering classroom teaching, practical courses, teaching and discussion of three modules, a thematic learning plate.
On October 30, 2024, the College of Marine Science and Engineering held the opening ceremony of the Forging Ahead in the New Era, Striving for New Youth League School. Dong Chaoqun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, made a mobilization speech, in which he explained to the students the historical mission and responsibility shouldered by young students in the new era, encouraged the young students present to strengthen their deep feelings for the Party, encouraged the students to firm their ideals and beliefs, have the courage to take actions, and strive to become young people in the new era with ideal, ability and responsibility. Wang Xiaoyu of Ship 241 Class, as a representative of the students, shared their expectations and aspirations for the group class with sincere emotions and vivid language, showing the style of young people in the new era.
Li Xiufang, associate professor of the School of Marxism, made a keynote report on Reform Coordinates across time and space - from the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee to the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Teacher Li led the students to learn the main content of the Third plenary session of the Party from a historical vertical perspective, and sorted out the key points and major changes of the previous meetings in the context of national reform and opening up. At the same time, he also took the changes of personal learning and living environment as an example to vividly explain the great journey that the Party's leadership provided the fundamental guarantee for the success of reform and opening up.It is because of his strong and powerful helm that he has ensured that the ship of comprehensively deepening reform in the new era has been able to cut through the waves and sail far.
Mr. Zhu Yaobin, teacher of the School's Working Committee, gave a report on the topic of Learning and understanding the Combination of Two, striving to be a model for young people in the New Era . Combining the history of the Communist Party of China, the history of New China, the history of reform and opening up, and the history of the development of socialism, Mr. Zhu thoroughly interpreted the two combinations to the students, and put forward eager expectations to the students, guiding the young college students to understand the true meaning of China's excellent traditional culture, and integrate into the cause of the Party and the people with a vigorous attitude. To be a forerunner, pioneer and devotee of the Chinese-style modernization process.
In this Youth League school, the students also watched the scene group lesson Chen Jiazhen, paying tribute to the navigation pioneer, pursuing the dream of the Marine power, immersed in a love school honor school class. In the practical course, the students collectively visited Dishui Cloud Hall and Lingang New Area International Innovation Cooperation Zone Planning Exhibition Center. Under the guidance of the docents, the students walked around the exhibition area and had a deep understanding of the establishment, development and planning of Lingang New Film Zone. In addition, students also participate in labor education practice classes, beautify the campus environment, establish a correct view of labor, cultivate social responsibility and practical ability, and promote students' all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical beauty and labor.
The Youth League school also carried out group counseling and special training on group affairs knowledge for the newly appointed League branch secretary and League Committee officers, which effectively enhanced the collective cohesion of student cadres and enhanced their business capabilities.
Youth ripening vitality, the heart to the party flag floating, and strive to welcome the new, Yong Yi spectrum Hua Zhang. This year's Youth League School has made the students deeply feel the responsibility and mission of their shoulders.
