In order to further strengthen the construction of the Party branch secretary team of the college, on the afternoon of November 13, the College of Marine Science and Engineering held the theme training of the Party branch secretary. The training was conducted in the form of salon discussion, and invited Mr. Wu, a special organizer of the school, Mr. Wei Yongliang, secretary of the Party Branch of teachers of National universities, and Mr. Lu Xian, secretary of the Party branch of teachers of Shanghai Ocean University, to make themed exchanges. Wang Weiyi, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, attended the speech, all teachers and students of the college Party branch secretaries participated, and the training was presided over by He Haibo, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the college.
In his speech, Secretary Wang Weiyi pointed out that strengthening the construction of the branch secretary team is to better implement the Party's organizational line in the new era, enhance the political function of grass-roots party organizations in colleges and universities, enhance the construction of grass-roots organizations, and promote the deep integration of party building work and school development. He stressed that the Party Committee of the college attaches great importance to the capacity building of the branch secretary team, and will promote personal growth and development through normalized and systematic learning practices, salon seminars and other training forms. He asked the secretaries to make continuous efforts, first, to strengthen the consciousness and initiative of learning, highlighting the core role of political guidance; Second, we must strictly observe political discipline and rules, attach importance to the construction of teachers' ethics and ethics, and strengthen the role of supervision and guarantee; Third, it is necessary to focus on the main responsibility and the main business, and promote the high-quality development of the cause with high-quality party building.
Focusing on the theme exchange of party member development work, the specially invited organizer, Mr. Wu, started from the work flow of 5 stages and 25 steps to develop party members, explained in detail the main points and common problems of party membership application, ideological report, meeting minutes and other materials, and shared his experience in the process of reviewing materials. He stressed that all branch secretaries should treat the development of party members with a high sense of political responsibility and historical mission, constantly improve their business capabilities, strictly control the pass, take responsibility to people, timely find problems and solve problems, and make the development of party members high-quality and efficient.
Focusing on the work theme of Double leaders, Wei Yongliang, secretary of the National University Double Leaders teachers' Party Branch, and Lu Xian, secretary of the Shanghai Ocean University Double Leaders teachers' Party Branch, have vivid practical stories and rich work experience, combined with their own disciplinary background, and focused on the work exploration and practice of university teachers' Party branch as the theme. Sincerely share their experience and understanding in performing their duties, connecting with the masses, demonstrating and driving, and winning honors, etc., take party building as the guide, deeply integrate with professional development, and effectively play the role of Party branch fighting fortress. The secretary of each branch of the college asked questions and exchanged with the double leaders on the specific problems of each branch, and the atmosphere was warm.
This theme training will combine theoretical learning with practical application, fully learn from the work experience of brother colleges and advanced grassroots party branches, further play the demonstration and leading role of party branch secretaries, further consolidate the political, serious and normative work of grassroots party building, and promote the implementation of various party building work.
