Years flow graduation for a long time, friendship is still not rest. On October 19, the College of Marine Science and Engineering successfully launched a series of activities for alumni homecoming Day. Party Secretary Wang Weiyi, President Feng Daolun, Deputy Party Secretary Dong Chaoqun and other leaders of College of Marine Science and Engineering warmly received returning alumni.
In the morning, the Alumni Youth Salon activity of the College of Marine Science and Engineering was successfully carried out in Room 408. Dean Feng Daolun, Secretary of the Youth League Committee He Haibo and teachers from the Department of Environment attended the event. After extending a warm welcome to the alumni, Dean Feng Daolun gave a detailed introduction of the college's overview, professional development, faculty, students and other recent information. He stressed that alumni, as fellow travelers in the development of the College, play an important role in promoting the realization of the College's future blueprint, and the College welcomes alumni to go home often. Afterwards, the alumni shared their career development and life stories in turn, which not only covered their insights and reflections on the current situation of professional employment, but also emphasized the important role of their major in promoting the sustainable development of society.
In the afternoon, the salon activity of Senior Students Say was carried out smoothly in the 109 lecture hall. Mr. He Haibo, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the College, presided over the activity and extended a warm welcome to the alumni who went home. At the event, alumni of various majors shared memories of their study time in the college, shared their growth experiences after graduation, and gave valuable career planning advice and life inspiration to younger students on this basis. In the interactive session, the alumni expressed their deep feelings for the college and their pride as Haike people, and sent messages to the younger students to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, cherish scientific research opportunities, enrich their knowledge in study and practice, actively inherit the spirit of Haida, and continue to move forward in the future.
This series of alumni homecoming activities not only deepened the emotional bond between alumni and their Alma mater, but also provided valuable growth guidelines for students, inspiring them to pursue their dreams bravely and keep moving forward. I believe that under the guidance and encouragement of the senior students, the younger students will meet the challenges and opportunities in the future with more enthusiasm and firm faith.
