In order to help the college graduates improve their job search competitiveness, on October 23, 2024, the Party Branch of the graduate students of the College of Marine Science and Engineering conducted a mock interview activity in the one-stop student community, with the participation of all party members of the branch.
The mock interview was conducted in the form of a leaderless group discussion, in which a total of 12 party members formed a group to conduct in-depth discussions on specific topics, and finally formed a unified opinion to show to all. During the discussion, the students spoke actively, which not only reflected the uniqueness of their personal opinions, but also showed a good team spirit. Especially in the face of some challenging issues, we can quickly adjust our thinking and find the best way to solve the problem, showing strong adaptability and innovative thinking. In addition to the party members participating in the activity, the branch secretary and other party members of the branch served as observers, not only participating in the whole process, but also giving revision suggestions after the group completed the report, summarizing experience and skills together in the exchange of teachers and students and mutual assistance among peers, and improving the interview ability.
Simulated interview activities can not only help students get familiar with the process and environment of real interview in advance, but also identify their shortcomings in expression ability, professional knowledge mastery and improvisation through feedback, so as to make targeted improvements. At the same time, it will promote mutual learning and communication among students, cultivate teamwork spirit, lay a solid foundation for them to enter the workplace, and improve employment competitiveness.
