The College of Ocean Science and Engineering organized and held the 2025 National Fund Project Application and Start Exchange meeting

  In order to firmly promote the application of National fund projects in 2025 and improve the funding rate of fund projects, on the morning of October 16, the College of Marine Science and Engineering held an exchange meeting on the launch of the application of National fund projects in 2025. Feng Daolun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of the College attended the meeting, and nearly 20 teachers of the college attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Guo Jiamin, vice president.

  The meeting invited Zhao Shan, Chao Zhiming, Chen Lisu, Gong Jiye, Huang Shiyu and Ping Huan, six winners of the 2024 National Fund project, to share their experience in how to combine the characteristics of the school and identify the pain points of the enterprise to choose the topic, write the declaration, accumulate the research foundation, consult senior experts, and improve the activity in the industry.

  Feng Daolun pointed out that the school attaches great importance to the application of national fund projects, emphasizing that teachers' project research should be oriented by practical problems, driven by industry and regional needs, and should clarify research objectives, think about research problems, grasp the research direction, improve the research intention, pay attention to the preliminary foundation accumulation, communicate more with peer experts, and think more, comb out frequently and summarize frequently. Only in the end can make a difference.

  Guo Jiamin summarized and analyzed the declaration results of the National fund projects in 2024, and deployed the declaration work of the national fund projects in 2025, and clarified the time node requirements of each specific work.

  The purpose of this exchange meeting is to strengthen the faculty's attention to the application of national fund projects, provide teachers with application guidance and experience sharing, and promote the school's preparation for the application of National fund projects in 2025.
