In order to further enhance the employment competitiveness of Class 2021 students and help graduates better prepare for job search materials, on the evening of October 7, 2024, the College of Marine Science and Engineering Class 2021 held a late name activity with the theme of Breaking the Jane and moving forward through the calendar in the Bangjian Lecture Hall, which was lectured by instructors Sun Hanfen and Peng Yujie.
At the beginning of the activity, teacher Peng Yujie stressed the importance of resume in the job search process, pointed out that an excellent resume is a stepping stone for candidates to get an interview opportunity, and briefly introduced the basic structure and content of the resume. Then, combining specific cases, Peng explained in detail how to accurately locate job intentions, highlight personal advantages, quantify results, and use GPT to optimize resumes and other key skills. Finally, the author interprets the new regulations of Shanghai fresh graduates, and advocates that everyone should be employed first and then choose a career.
Finally, Ms. Sun Hanfen encouraged students to face the job market with confidence, actively submit their resumes, and strive for more interview opportunities. She said that the college will continue to pay attention to students' employment dynamics and provide more targeted guidance and support to help each graduate successfully achieve their employment goals.
Through professional guidance and experience sharing, this event helped students establish a good view of career and employment, which greatly improved their ability and confidence in resume making and job hunting.
