On the eve of the National Martyrs' Day, in order to remember the great achievements of the martyrs, inherit the red gene and continue the red blood, on the afternoon of September 29, the College of Marine Science and Engineering organized more than 30 new party members and party activists to go to the Shanghai Longhua Martyrs' Cemetery to carry out the theme of remembering the martyrs to welcome the National Day.
In the cemetery, the trees are gloomy, surrounded by flowers, and rows of neat tombstones stand in awe. The students walk slowly, stopping to stare at each place, and feeling the great spirit and unyielding will of the revolutionary forefathers. At the solemn ceremony of silence, the students presented flowers in turn and bowed in front of the monument to express their deepest condolences and respect to the heroes who were laid to rest here.
Then, under the guidance of the cemetery docent, the students visited eight exhibition areas in the preface Hall of the Memorial Hall of Longhua Martyrs, including Illuminating the Temple of Faith, the Call of Faith, the persistence of mission, the persistence of faith, the backbone of the nation, the struggle for victory, the pioneer of The Times, and the end Hall - Looking up, and stared at a series of precious historical photos. With the heart, I feel the touching stories of life and death.
In front of a bright red Party flag displayed in the memorial hall, all probationary party members raised their right fists towards the party flag and solemnly swore: I volunteer to join the Communist Party of China... The oath is sonorous and powerful, expressing the boundless loyalty of the young people of HAidu to the Party and the firm determination to devote themselves to the Chinese-style modernization.
Under a re-engraved peach tree in the memorial hall, the students wrote the most sincere greetings on the red card, and hung the red ribbon on the tree, in the name of youth to the motherland, to pay tribute to the martyrs.
