In order to strengthen the management of graduate students, recently, the School of Marine Science and Engineering carefully planned and organized full-time counselors Xu Jie, Zhu Diyu and part-time student counselor Mao Datong to settle in the one-stop student community to carry out a symposium for graduate students in the 23rd grade.
The symposium focused on the three major modules of dormitory safety, future planning and mental health, aiming at escorting students' growth in an all-round way. At the meeting, the counselors gave a detailed explanation on the safety norms of the dormitory, emphasizing the importance of fire prevention, theft prevention and platform prevention. At the same time, around the three aspects of clear goals, making plans, continuous efforts, the students' future planning put forward specific suggestions. In addition, a special mental health communication link of face-to-face growth has been set up to encourage students to open their hearts, relieve academic pressure, and build a psychological defense line.
The symposium not only enhanced students' safety awareness and clarified their future development path, but also built a bridge for them to communicate about mental health, which is of great significance for promoting students' all-round development and smoothly entering society. In the future, the College will optimize the allocation of community teams, continue to pay attention to the diverse needs of students, and provide more precise services and characteristic activities to promote the steady development of the one-stop student community.
