"Building a dream of a safe campus, researching anti-fraud peers" -- The School of Ocean Science and Engineering carries out anti-fraud safety education for 2023 graduate students

  In order to further enhance the security awareness of our graduate students, improve their ability to identify and deal with various kinds of fraud. At 4 PM on September 25, the College of Marine Science and Engineering invited Officer Zhou of Lingang University Police Station to hold a special lecture on anti-fraud education in the Haike Lecture Hall. This activity is for the 23 students of Sea Academy of Sciences, by police officer Zhou, school security Department Liu Zhen teacher and college counselor Zhu Diyu teacher lecturing.

  In the activity, Officer Zhou first analyzed the new trends and new characteristics of current fraud crimes, especially the common fraud methods for college students, such as concert tickets, game equipment sales, online part-time brushing, etc. Through the analysis of real cases, the fraudsters' modus operandi and psychological tactics were revealed, so that the students had a deeper understanding of the means of online fraud. At the same time, Officer Zhou explained in detail the practical skills and coping strategies to prevent fraud, and encouraged the students to establish a correct consumption concept, to communicate with the teacher in time when encountering special situations, and not to believe the bait of others.

  The holding of the anti-fraud lecture activity not only enhances the students' awareness of anti-fraud, but also lays a solid foundation for building a harmonious and safe campus atmosphere.
