On the afternoon of September 18, the opening ceremony of the Vanguard Party School of the College of Marine Science and Engineering for the 2024 Party Entry Activist training class was successfully held in the 109 lecture hall of the Ocean Building. Wang Weiyi, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, made a speech to mobilize the opening of the class, and Feng Daolun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president, taught the first lesson.
The opening ceremony kicked off in the impassioned national anthem. Secretary Wang Weiyi extended a warm welcome and high hopes to all the students in her speech at the opening of the class. He pointed out that the Party Constitution is the fundamental law of the Party, the general Constitution of the Party and the Party management, is the fundamental code of conduct that the whole party must abide by, learning to abide by the Party Constitution is the basic requirement for active Party members, all students should cherish the hard-won Party school learning opportunities and communication platforms, strengthen the Party Constitution study, and constantly improve the political position. Secretary Wang stressed that studying and implementing the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee is an important lesson to strengthen responsibility and clarify the historical mission, and all students should firm their big ideals, establish big feelings, and distinguish between right and wrong. It is necessary to study diligently, study hard, learn truly, and be knowledgeable, and internalize the great virtue of serving the motherland and the people in the heart and externalize in the practice. We should always check the Party discipline, improve self-cultivation, achieve discipline, discipline, Ming discipline, discipline, and become a qualified socialist builder and successor.
President Feng Daolun taught the first lesson on the theme of In-depth Study and Implementation of the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. President Feng introduced and interpreted the main agenda and major principles of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee for the students, and called on all students to pay equal attention to study and think, deeply understand and grasp the theme of further deepening reform in an all-round way, strengthen theoretical armed, temper a strong party spirit, and constantly improve the level of Marxist theory. In addition, President Feng encouraged all students not only to learn knowledge creatively, learn to create knowledge, but also to develop the ability to propose and solve important problems.
There are 70 participants in this training course. The Party School of the College has carefully designed theoretical lectures, group research, theoretical preaching, knowledge competitions, and completion exams. Centering on the theme of in-depth study and implementation of the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, it aims to help students firmly join the Party, build a solid mission, and consolidate political theory through the study form of combining theory with practice.
