On September 18th, the Party Branch of Ocean Environment Students of the College of Marine Science and Engineering and the Party branch of Mathematics Teaching and Engineering of the College of Science held the activity of I do practical things for students - Special guidance for Postgraduate Mathematics in the library A221. The personnel who attended the joint activity included: Ding Yi, Secretary of the Party Branch of Ocean Environment Students, Deng Wei, teacher of Mathematics Department of the College of Science, some students of grade 2021 and 2022 of Haike, and representatives of teachers and students of Marine Environment Students Party Branch.Keynote speaker: Mr. Deng Wei.
After the preliminary questionnaire and interview survey of the Party Branch of Ocean Environment students, it is found that with the increasing number of graduate students in recent years, mathematics has become the top priority for graduate students to prepare for the exam, and the students of Ocean science examination have a strong demand for mathematical special guidance. Based on everyone's voice, the Party Branch of Ocean Environment Students led the implementation of the I do practical things for students activity, immediately discussed with the 2021 and 2022 instructor teachers of Haike, and got strong support from teachers Sun Hanfen and Lei Mengyu. At the same time, the Party branch of Ocean Environment students issued a joint invitation to the Mathematics teaching Party branch of the College of Science, which attached great importance to and responded positively, and decided that Deng Wei, the mathematics department of the College of Science, would provide mathematical topic guidance and answer questions for the Ocean science students.
Ms. Deng introduced the distribution of main knowledge points and question types in postgraduate mathematics examination in a simple and easy to understand way, and helped everyone review the knowledge points of university public mathematics courses by explaining the comprehensive question types of previous years. Teacher Deng told everyone: the university public mathematics course and postgraduate mathematics entrance examination has many important internal basic relations, we must pay attention to the study of public mathematics course, in the process of reading the problem, to do more questions, in practice to test the effectiveness and practicability of learning methods, pay attention to problem-solving skills, summarize typical question types, study hard, deepen understanding, practice makes perfect. Finally, Ms. Deng encouraged and wished everyone good results in the postgraduate entrance examination!
In recent years, the Party Branch of Ocean Environment Students has actively responded to the call of the Party Committee of the college, given play to the model party branch's exemplary power, encouraged party members to sink to the grassroots, listen to students' suggestions and opinions, and strive to solve the problems of urgent difficulties and worries encountered by students, and responded to everyone's voices and demands through the way of I do practical things for students, becoming an important bridge for teachers and students to communicate.
