On the morning of July 9th, the children of the Summer camp of Luchao Neighborhood Committee jointly built with the Youth League Committee community of the College entered the school history hall, sensed the remarkable years of the century-old shipping education, and embarked on a journey full of educational significance.
In the school history Hall, children have a perceptual understanding of the century-old development of Shanghai Maritime University and the importance of maritime education through vivid exhibitions and presentations by docents. Various exhibits and pictures related to shipping and maritime development in the exhibition hall aroused the curiosity of children, aroused their strong interest in shipping and their sense of responsibility for Marine protection. After that, the children also visited the campus of Hai University under the guidance of volunteers.
Through the co-construction of the school and the community, the two sides have more beneficial exploration in community education and shipping culture inheritance, sowing the seeds for children to explore the ocean and become stronger.
