The breeze ruffled the wheat waves with the joy of harvest. On the afternoon of June 7, 2024, young students of the College of Marine Science and Engineering walked into Tangbei Village in Pudong to experience the labor joy of wheat cutting.

Beside the wheat field, Zhu Guoxing, a veteran party member, explained the theory of labor production to the students, and made a vivid explanation based on his own experience. Then, under the guidance of park staff, students holding straw, one hand waving sickle, scrape upsurge, the passage of the classmates sweat profusely, experience the fun of labor in the sweat, but also real experience of working people to hard and not easy.

After the field work, the students went to Xinjiang Agricultural Modern Agricultural Park, led by the park staff to visit the modern agricultural facilities, including intelligent greenhouse, integrated water and fertilizer irrigation system. Then, the person in charge explained to the students the soilless planting technology of reverse osmosis membrane cultivation, which practiced the concept of green ecological agriculture, and cultivated melons and fruits were welcomed by the market, greatly improving farmers' income. The students have said that after learning, they can better exert their professional strengths to help agricultural technological innovation and participate in the great practice of rural revitalization.

Through this immersive experience activity, students can sharpen their strong will in work, strengthen their responsibility, truly feel and appreciate the most glorious labor value, and then respect labor, love labor, and advocate labor.
