On June 4, 2024, the College of Marine Science and Engineering launched a series of activities of Bright HAIKER in the month of academic style construction. This activity invited senior students Huang Yu and Tao Siyu to share their postgraduate entrance examination and employment experience for freshmen and juniors.

Huang Yu shared details about how to write resumes and collect job information. Huang Yu explained to the younger students with the example of revising their resumes that they should make good use of the STAR rule when writing resumes, improve the content of resumes for specific positions, and do not have to copy, but seek logical consistency. For non-technical students with a wide range of jobs, it is recommended to carefully study the job description and job ability requirements in JD. Tao Siyu showed the students her preparation plan, review rhythm and review materials in a concise and powerful way. She mentioned that all students must devote themselves to the review process after making the decision to take the postgraduate entrance examination, do not have a slack mind, but also continue to affirm themselves and maintain confidence.

After the sharing, the lower students had an in-depth discussion and exchange with the senior students on their current confusion, and the senior students also answered them one by one.
