On June 5, 2024, the College of Marine Science and Engineering launched the Bright HAIKER series of activities in the month of academic style construction. This activity invited senior students Wang Han and Lin Hanpo to share their postgraduate entrance examination and employment experience for freshmen and juniors.

Lin Hanpo shared how to prepare for job hunting, how to determine the right job position for oneself, and how to effectively deliver the job. Students who decide to find employment directly after graduation should consciously cultivate their comprehensive ability in all aspects and improve their personal quality during the university in order to stand out in the fierce competition, which is also the most important determinant of employment. In addition, to combine their own strengths and advantages, targeted delivery of jobs, can improve the success rate of employment.

Wang Han shared his school selection experience and review methods. He analyzed the learning methods and skills of various subjects in detail, and provided the direction for the younger students to review and prepare for the examination; At the same time, he encouraged all students and younger sisters from their own experience, if the preparation time is relatively short, do not give up easily, but to maintain confidence and firmly make efforts.

After the sharing, the lower grade students conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on how to prepare for job hunting and how to choose the target university, and the senior students made sincere answers according to their own experience.

The Brilliant HAIKER series of activities aims to help students of the College of Marine Science and Engineering improve their professional identity, inviting outstanding graduates of various majors of the college to share real and objective learning and employment experience, providing reference for lower grade students, and helping students better carry out academic planning and career planning.
