As the core social relationship in the postgraduate stage, the mentoring relationship exists in the two-way interaction between tutors and students, which not only profoundly affects the process of postgraduate study, but also runs through the career of tutors and students as a mentoring relationship.
In order to further build a good guide relationship and increase benign guide interaction, at 9:00 am on May 24, the secondary Psychological counseling station of the College of Marine Science and Engineering carried out a cooperative dialogue activity of meet each other and know each other from the heart and sound together in the scientific research Building 210. First of all, Teacher Dong Haitao talked about the method of solving psychological problems through cooperative oriented therapy. Subsequently, Teacher Dong led us to carry out two rounds of cooperative dialogue group auxiliary activities on the theme of Good guidance relationship emerges in dialogue. In the first round, student representatives were invited to sit in a circle, and under the leadership of Teacher Dong, they discussed the topic of what kind of cooperative relationship do you want to create with teachers and put forward their real ideas and needs. Some students suggested that they would like to get along with their tutors as friends. Besides academic communication, they can also communicate in daily life and carry out more activities that can enhance the relationship. Some students said that they were afraid to communicate with their tutors and classmates and dared not disturb the tutors too much. There are also students who are satisfied with the current state of getting along with their tutors.
For the ideas put forward by the students, the second round also invited the representatives of various professional teachers present to share their real ideas in the process of getting along with students and the experience of communicating with students. Teacher Yao Xin said that it is necessary to pay more attention to the psychological state of students and get along with students like friends; Liu Boyang said that a tutor usually brings several students, the tutor can not always pay attention to each student, I hope students can take the initiative to communicate with each other to solve problems; In this regard, Teacher Wang Kan also mentioned that teachers and students can get along with each other as friends, but they should also have a sense of distance and boundaries and respect each other. The relationship between teachers and students is the common progress of discussion, academic planning and guidance for students to cultivate academic ability, life with their own experience to teach.
Afterwards, through his own personal experience, Mr. Huang Dalong taught the teachers and students the skills and methods of harmonious coexistence between teachers and students, and talked about the profound impact of teachers' words and actions on students. In combination with the experience of sailing on the ship, he encouraged students to be not afraid of setbacks and bravely face difficulties. Teachers and students benefited a lot.
The students also carried out a warm exchange with the teachers present on the confusion of daily student life.
This guided learning relationship cooperation dialogue activity helps students and teachers to have a deeper understanding of each other's ideas, and also provides some help for the communication and getting along between teachers and students, enhancing the communication and distance between teachers and students.
