In order to further strengthen mental health education, guide students to pay attention to mental health, create a good atmosphere, and create a harmonious class, the College of Marine Science and Engineering carried out the Pay attention to mental health, create a harmonious class mental health education theme class meeting, which was organized by the psychological committee of each class.
The psychology committee of each class designed the content according to the psychological status of the students in the class, and popularized the mental health knowledge from the aspects of mental health warning signals, how to self-check the mental health status, and how to help others to conduct psychological counseling. Through realistic case explanation, interactive experience and group communication, students are guided to understand mental health and possible psychological problems step by step, reminding students to strengthen their understanding of their own mental health status and correct cognition of mental illness, and seek help from the outside world in time when they encounter problems. The class will encourage students to help each other to overcome the confusion and obstacles caused by bad psychological states. The students actively participated in the discussion, took the initiative to share their own methods to solve psychological problems, and said that they would face college life with a positive and optimistic attitude, and infect others with their sunny attitude.
To carry out the theme class meeting of mental health education is one of the important measures for the college to implement psychological education. The development of this theme class meeting has effectively improved the level of mental health knowledge of each class, guided students to correctly understand themselves, created an atmosphere of attention to mental health and mental health in the class, and enhanced class cohesion.
