In order to further promote the construction of the team of psychological committee members and improve the ability of psychological committee members to help their peers, on March 25, 2024, the College of Marine Science and Engineering Class 2022 carried out a regular working meeting of psychological committee members. The counselor Lei Mengyu presided over, the grade all the psychological committee to participate.
First of all, Lei Mengyu explained the responsibilities of the psychological committee member in detail, starting from the work content, leading to how to do a qualified psychological committee member, and shared the relevant knowledge of psychological crisis investigation and early warning, guiding students to discover and intervene in a timely manner potential psychological crisis. Subsequently, Mr. Lei asked the psychological committee members about the mental health status of class students, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions around the problems existing in psychological work and how to improve it. Finally, Mr. Lei stressed that the psychological committee is a safety member, hoping that everyone can pay attention to the confidentiality of the work, and make full use of the school psychological counseling center, do a good job of humanistic care for students in need of help, and better serve the students.
This regular work meeting of the psychological committee further helped the grade psychological committee to enhance their work awareness, clear the focus of the new semester, improve their helping skills, so that everyone realized the importance of the psychological committee work, and knew how to deal with problems when they encountered them.
