On March 4, the Youth League Committee of the College of Marine Science and Engineering cooperated with the Party and Mass Service Station of Luchao Residential area to carry out the volunteer service activity of Volunteer to warm the heart and create a green community, and the teachers and students of the college helped the community workers clean up the community environmental health and help improve the living environment of residents. To promote students to go deep into the community, serve the people, enhance the responsibility of The Times, and inject youthful energy into the development of the community and the city.
The volunteer service activity was organized by the Youth League Committee of the College of Marine Science and Engineering, through the party building and the league building, in line with the original intention of youth volunteer and serve the community, at 9 am, 5 volunteers came to the Party and mass service station in Luchao residential area on time, the community staff welcomed the arrival of the volunteers, and seriously told how to better and more targeted to carry out resident services. And a comprehensive introduction to the service content, discipline, requirements and so on. Subsequently, the volunteers were divided into two ways, one to carry out garbage cleaning operations in the community, sorting out non-motor vehicles, and the other to help the elderly solve some small problems in the community.
Although it was raining heavily, the enthusiasm of the volunteers in our hospital was still high, and they worked together, not afraid of dirty or tired, and cooperated with the community staff to complete the volunteer service. We have interpreted the true meaning of Lei Feng spirit with practical actions, fully demonstrated the purpose of volunteer service of dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress, and reflected the good spiritual outlook of college students in the new era to help others, improve themselves and serve the society.
