In order to continue the red blood and deeply plant the feelings of the family, on the afternoon of March 27, representatives of young teachers and students of the College of Marine Science and Engineering went to the Red Base of Mud City to carry out the theme of Remembering the martyrs and paying tribute to heroes education, bearing in mind the heroic achievements and promoting the patriotic spirit.

Accompanied by the solemn National Anthem of the People's Republic of China, all teachers and students stood in front of the monument, singing the national anthem in unison and paying attention. After the flag-raising ceremony, the whole audience stood in silence, paid the highest respect and most sincere tribute to the revolutionary martyrs, and presented flower baskets. Then, we visited the Red mud city revolutionary historical site exhibition hall in turn, paid tribute to the martyrs memorial wall, with the in-depth study of red history, the memory was once again back to the Chinese sons and daughters of the same hatred of the war years, together to review the history of that indomitable, heroic resistance.

After the visit and study, under the leadership of the oath takers, all the probationary party members solemnly swore to face the Party flag and volunteer to join the Communist Party of China and fight for the cause of communism for life. Under the leadership of party members, the young members of the new league held high their right fists and swore to the league flag with full spirit, officially becoming a glorious member of the Communist Youth League.

The revolutionary spirit lives on, and the red gene is passed down from generation to generation. Young teachers and students take heroes as examples, draw strength from them, forge ahead, continue the red gene in remembering the martyrs, and draw striving power in remembering history.
