In order to improve the comprehensive quality of employment of the graduates of our college in 2024, understand and master the structured interview process and skills, accumulate employment interview experience, and enhance the students' job search confidence and employment competitiveness. On March 21, the College of Marine Science and Engineering organized a mock interview for graduates of the class of 2024.
In this mock interview activity, Sha Di and Zhang Xin, HR managers of Shanghai Sanhang Pentium Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd. are specially invited as interviewers to design questions on self-introduction, professional knowledge, comprehensive analysis, organization and coordination, and interpersonal relationship handling in accordance with the standard process of corporate recruitment and interview, in order to help participants fully understand the complete process and common question types of structured interview. Master interview skills and prepare for the real interview. According to the different applied positions, the students made a concise and clear self-introduction, calmly analyzed the problem, carefully organized the language, answered their understanding of the problem in a more comprehensive way, and gave their own methods to solve the problem. After the participants finished answering, the interviewer commented on each student participating in the mock interview from the aspects of appearance, answer ideas, language organization, etc., and put forward suggestions and suggestions for improvement to help the participants understand themselves deeply.
This mock interview provided a valuable training opportunity for the 2024 graduate students of our college. Many students said that through the performance and comments in the mock interview process, they further realized their shortcomings, and also clarified the direction for the future job search process.
