In order to further strengthen students' mental health work and improve the college counselors' mental health theoretical literacy and practical skills, on the afternoon of March 21, all counselors of the College of Marine Science and Engineering conducted a key case supervision meeting, and teacher Dong Haitao from the Psychological counseling Center of the school came to guide.
At the supervisory meeting, the counselors made detailed reports on the key psychological cases handled recently. According to the specific situation of the case, teacher Dong Haitao deeply analyzed the causes of students' psychological problems and put forward many professional suggestions. Teacher Dong Haitao encourages counselors to actively learn psychological theories, improve professional quality, and advocate early detection, early intervention, early intervention, good use of speech, home-school communication. At the same time, participants also had a heated discussion on how to better carry out students' mental health work and improve the quality of psychological counseling services.
Finally, Deputy Secretary Dong Chaoqun expressed his gratitude to Teacher Dong Haitao for his support and guidance to the psychological education work of the College of Marine Science and Engineering, and stressed the importance and urgency of students' mental health work.
