On March 15, the College of Marine Science and Engineering organized all teachers and students to watch and learn the 2024 spring school fire evacuation drill open class. The open class was jointly planned and organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Fire and Rescue Bureau, aiming to further enhance the fire safety awareness of teachers and students through in-depth learning and practice, and widely publicize the knowledge of disaster prevention and reduction, so as to effectively enhance everyone's self-rescue ability in the face of fire.
The open class is rich in content and diverse in forms. It not only deeply analyzes the causes and hazards of fire, but also makes teachers and students have a more intuitive understanding of the seriousness of fire through a series of real cases. The course focuses on the auditorium, teaching building, dormitory and other fire-prone places in the school, and carries out evacuation simulation exercises, so that teachers and students can feel the tense atmosphere of the fire scene, learn how to calmly respond to the fire and evacuate quickly. In addition, the open class also explains fire safety knowledge in detail, including fire prevention, alarm, initial rescue and evacuation skills. Through the on-site demonstration and explanation of experts, the teachers and students not only learned practical fire self-rescue skills, but also mastered the fire at the beginning of the rescue method, laying a solid foundation for the future safe life.
This school fire evacuation drill open class not only improves the fire safety awareness of teachers and students, but also provides a rare learning opportunity for everyone. It is believed that in the coming days, teachers and students of the College of Marine Science and Engineering will pay more attention to fire safety, actively prevent fire risks, and jointly create a safe and harmonious campus environment.
