In order to carry forward the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, create a strong festival atmosphere, enrich the campus spiritual and cultural life of students, and improve labor skills, on February 3, 2024, the Youth League Committee of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering carefully organized the labor education activity of Celebrating the rest of the year Spring hand-made Dessert Experience. Let the students feel the charm of traditional culture and traditional food in the atmosphere of making spring rolls and dumplings.

 

At the beginning of the activity, the aunts in the canteen had already prepared spring roll skins, glutinous rice noodles and various fillings. Under the detailed explanation and demonstration of the aunts, the students enthusiastically threw themselves into the production of food. We learn from each other, exchange ideas, the scene atmosphere is warm and harmonious. In the laughter and cooperation, the students experience the happiness and satisfaction brought by traditional customs, and feel the broad and profound Chinese culture. After a busy and happy work, a plate of golden spring rolls and a bowl of delicious glutinous dumplings have been out of the pot, tasting their own homemade food, the faces of the students are happy and proud of the smile, which is not only the affirmation of their own labor, but also a profound experience of the traditional Chinese food culture.

 

At the end of the activity, the students sent couplets and souvenirs to the hard-working aunts to express their heartfelt gratitude. This warm gesture not only shows the gratitude of the students, but also further Narrows the distance between each other.
