In order to meet the employment needs of enterprises, broaden the employment channels and resources of graduates, and make every effort to promote high-quality employment of graduates, January 18, 2024, Wang Weiyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, Dong Chaoqun, Deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Guo Jiamin, deputy president, Xiong Zhixin, director of Marine and Marine Engineering, and Hou Xianrui, a professional teacher, visited China Merchants Industrial Technology (Shanghai) Co., LTD. He introduced in detail the organizational framework, current development strategy and product characteristics of China Merchants Industry and Cruise Research Institute, and hoped that the two sides could deepen cooperation and win-win development in the future.

 

The participants had an in-depth discussion on topics such as talent training mode, employment needs of enterprises and students' career planning. The College of Ocean Science and Engineering will also continue to carry out the work of visiting enterprises to expand their positions, and escort the graduates of 2024 for more adequate and higher quality employment.
