In order to actively promote the smooth employment of 2024 graduates, on January 16, 2024, Dong Chaoqun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, Lu Yanhua, director of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, and Zhang Fuhua, secretary of the Party branch of Materials Teaching and Engineering, visited Shanghai Lingang Marine High-tech Industry Development Co., LTD., and carried out a special action to visit enterprises and promote employment. Mr. Sheng Yanjun, Deputy General manager of Ocean High-tech Company, Mr. Xi Xuan, Manager of Investment Promotion Department, Mr. Yan Chenglong, Manager of Science and Innovation Promotion Department, and Mr. Zhang Yiqun and Mr. Wei Peng, manager of Ocean Business Department, warmly welcomed the delegation from the College of Ocean Science and Engineering.
Deputy Secretary Dong Chaoqun introduced the construction of the College in detail, the professional system and the construction of disciplines, and said that the college will closely contact enterprises to jointly explore new models of cooperation, promote the deep integration of industry, university and research in the Marine field, and achieve the transformation of scientific research results. Director Liu Yanhua introduced the construction of materials, the research direction of the main team and the completion of the project, and prospected the students' practice base and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
Sheng Yanjun made a detailed introduction from the aspects of enterprise organizational structure, research direction and future development, and looked forward to further deepening cooperation with the College of Ocean Science and Engineering in industry-university-research cooperation and other aspects to promote high-quality development of both sides. Xi Xuan welcomed the College's special action to visit enterprises and promote employment, and hoped to take this forum as an opportunity to solidly promote exchanges and cooperation. Ocean Innovation Park is located in the pilot zone of Lingang New Area and is one of the second batch of characteristic industrial parks in Shanghai. The park is characterized by ocean + intelligent manufacturing, focusing on Marine characteristic industries with Marine high-end equipment industry as the core, while taking into account emerging industries such as integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, software information services, and enabling Marine high-end equipment manufacturing with science and technology.
The participants had in-depth exchanges on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, the development of high-quality employment positions, and the construction of internship practice bases. The College of Ocean Science and Engineering will also continue to visit enterprises to expand their work, integrate high-quality employment resources, and help graduates find high-quality and accurate employment.
