College of Ocean Science and Engineering visited Wison Clean Energy Technology Group Co., LTD

In order to broaden the internship platform for students and further promote the employment of graduates, on January 12, 2024, Wang Weiyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, and Xiong Zhixin, director of the Department of Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering, visited Wison Clean Energy Technology Group Co., LTD. (formerly Wison Marine Engineering Group) and carried out a special action to visit enterprises and promote employment. Hu Jingtao, chief ship scientist and general manager of Design Center of Wison Clean Energy Technology Group Co., LTD., and Liu Ning, Director of Human resources, expressed warm welcome to the arrival the College of Ocean Science and Engineering.

 

Secretary Wang Weiyi introduced the school in detail, the history of the school and the construction of disciplines, and said that the school will closely contact enterprises, listen to the needs of enterprise talents, carry out joint personnel training work in a targeted way, jointly explore a new mode of personnel training, promote the deep integration of production, university and research, and achieve coordinated development. Director Xiong Zhixin introduced the development and construction of the ship profession, the research direction of the main team and the completion of the project, and prospected the construction of the practice base and the integration of research, production and education.

 

Hu Jingtao et al. made a detailed introduction from the aspects of enterprise organizational structure, research content and characteristic products, and future development, and looked forward to further deepening cooperation with the College of Ocean Science and Engineering in the joint training of talents, industry-university-research cooperation and other aspects to promote high-quality development of both sides. Liu Ning welcomed the special action work of the College's visit to enterprises to expand jobs and promote employment, introduced the talent needs and recruitment plans, and hoped to take this forum as an opportunity to solidly promote exchanges and cooperation.

 

The participants had in-depth exchanges on scientific research and technology exchanges, the development of high-quality employment positions, and the construction of internship practice bases. The College of Ocean Science and Engineering will also continue to visit enterprises to expand their work, further integrate high-quality employment resources, and help graduates find high-quality and accurate employment.
