In order to ensure that students have a good living and learning environment and ensure that students spend their winter vacation safely and smoothly during the winter vacation, the College of Ocean Science and Engineering carried out a safety and health inspection of student dormitories and winter holiday safety theme education throughout the college.
This inspection is mainly aimed at dormitory hygiene and dormitory safety, including the use of high-power electrical appliances, the use of cable boards, and the arrangement of beds and desks, the cleaning of the floor and balcony, and the cleanliness of the bathroom. Through the inspection, it is found that the overall health condition of most dormitories is good, the beds are tidy, the desks are tidy, and the floor is clean, but there are also some health problems in a small number of dormitories, requiring students to strengthen health awareness, timely rectification, and keep the dormitory environment clean. In terms of dormitory safety, it emphasizes the importance of dormitory safety, reminds students to use electricity safely, requires students to strictly abide by the relevant management regulations of the dormitory, prohibits random wiring, unauthorized use of high-power electrical appliances, illegal use of electric kettles, etc., and maintains good dormitory health and safe electricity habits.
In the thematic education, each grade strengthened the students' safety awareness in various forms. Through a variety of real cases in life, the importance of holiday safety is emphasized in terms of electricity safety, food safety, traffic safety, Internet safety, school detention safety, home safety, travel safety and anti-fraud safety. Let the students really feel the hidden safety problems around, guide the students to improve the safety awareness and self-protection ability.
Through this activity, it plays an important role in enhancing students' safety awareness, cultivating good living habits, and cultivating excellent study style. The College of Ocean Science and Engineering has always attached great importance to safety, and will continue to strengthen students' safety management in all aspects in the future to escort students' better study and life.
