According to the school's "Notice on doing a good job of safety work during the end of the term and 2024 winter vacation" and the implementation of the requirements of the Asset and Laboratory Management Office and the Security Department for safety self-inspection, on the afternoon of December 25, Wang Weiyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, Feng Daolun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of the College, and relevant staff carried out safety inspections of the experimental centers.
In addition to routine safety checks, the laboratory inspection also carried out spot checks on the large instrument sharing equipment that has been put into trial operation. The leadership of the hospital stressed that all laboratories that are not used during the winter vacation must do a good job of four defenses and four passes and paste seals to close them. If the laboratory is open for use during holidays, it should be reported to the Security Department, the Assets and Laboratory Management Department in advance, and be strictly managed. Be sure to check three times a day on the day the laboratory is used, and make a good record.
The overall situation of this safety inspection is good, and the health condition and spatial layout of some laboratories need to be further optimized and adjusted.
