On December 21, 2023, the College of Ocean Science and Engineering launched the "Learning Path Leader, Growth Companion" salon for teachers and students of the 2023 Study Style Construction Month series activities. The salon specially invited Ms. Zhang Wenbing from the College of Ocean Science and Engineering to give a lecture. The students majoring in port Channel and coastal engineering participated in the lecture, and the counselor, Ms. Xu Ling, presided over the lecture.
Mr. Zhang started from his own school experience, from the experience of high school admission to university, to how to enter the port and navigation profession, and then how to get married with Haidu and Haike after doctoral graduation, he encouraged students with his own school experience: learning is the most likely to change the development of life, and we need to pay unremitting efforts to be a long ambition rather than often determined people. Mr. Zhang stressed to the students that in order to learn the port and shipping major well, they must lay a solid foundation, and learn the basic courses taken in the lower grade of the undergraduate stage will be of great help to further study and research in the future.
Afterwards, the students discussed and communicated with Ms. Zhang about the problems and difficulties encountered in daily study life, and Ms. Zhang also gave sincere suggestions one by one, so that the students had a deeper understanding of their current study and future study planning.
