In order to highlight the power of example, sum up the learning experience, create a strong learning atmosphere, and further mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of all students in learning, on December 17, 2023, the School of Ocean Science and Engineering Class 2022 launched the theme of Learning from excellent, and invited Yan Shu, Class 2020, to share his experience. Instructor Lei Mengyu hosted, all students of Grade 2022 participated.
At the meeting, Senior student Yan Shu took What is the admission of graduate students as the starting point, fully combined his own experience and perception, imparting experience to everyone, and helping his younger students take every step of college life steadily. He called on students to learn professional knowledge at the same time, but also to actively expand their comprehensive quality, develop their extracurricular hobbies, actively participate in discipline competitions, and enrich university life. He said the scholarship is not our ultimate goal, but a driving force along the way. We should put this award and honor in perspective. More to guard against arrogance and impetuous, do not be proud of good results for a while, and do not be discouraged by temporary unsatisfactory.
I hope that the students can take the opportunity of this theme, take the excellent seniors as an example, find their own goal positioning, plan their college life, set goals for themselves according to their own ability and vision for the future, clear their life direction, and maintain an enterprising spirit, firm confidence, and determined to move forward.
