In order to let more students understand the relevant policies of studying abroad, better plan their future, and make relevant preparations in advance, on the evening of December 17, the College of Ocean Science and Engineering Class 2021 held a study abroad and employment experience sharing meeting with the theme of "Learn from excellence" in the Bangjian Lecture Hall. Senior Zhang Haonan and senior Chen Ziye were invited to share their experience. Grade 21 counselor Sun Hanfen teacher hosted.
Zhang Haonan from the personal situation, school selection and major, application timeline, preparation points, documents and interviews, Gpa five levels, to introduce you. First of all, he introduced the preparation for studying abroad, emphasized the importance of GPA and internship research for studying abroad, systematically summarized the matters related to school selection, and then pointed out the relevant application materials required for studying abroad, such as English transcript, study certificate, internship experience certificate, scientific research and various awards certification documents, etc. At the same time, he provided some useful public accounts and official websites for students to learn from and learn from.
Chen Ziye study sister combined with their own experience, talk about job search sentiment. From her sharing, we learned that the choice of career should be from personal factors, family factors, unit factors and other aspects of comprehensive consideration, to prepare early, determine goals, use resources to constantly try, and combined with their own interests, give play to their own advantages to balance the trade-off, in order to find a truly suitable for their own work.
Through this experience sharing activity, the students said that they gained a lot. They not only understood the detailed process and precautions of applying for studying abroad, but also reduced the doubts in their minds. On the basis of learning from the successful overseas study experience of their seniors, they were able to formulate and implement their learning goals more efficiently.
