In order to guide students to look up to the excellent role models around them, set up lofty ideals, broaden their learning horizons, and improve their professional identity, on the evening of December 17, College of Ocean Science and Engineering Grade 23 invited Grade 20 student Sun Jiayu to share her experience. Sun Jiayu has hosted the science and technology innovation project "Numerical Simulation of water flow in the North Branch Channel of the Yangtze River Estuary based on MIKE21", hosted the national science and Technology innovation project "Design and production of New Energy dissipation device for High head ship lock", led the team to design and produce "a New energy dissipation and energy recovery device for short corridor water transmission system of ship Lock", won the national second prize, and has now been promoted to Tsinghua University.

Sun Jiayu first said that after entering the university, the first thing is to listen carefully in class, find their own rhythm, and make college planning in advance. At the same time, in view of her own experience in postgraduate education, she pointed out that the two necessary conditions for the success of postgraduate education are to obtain the qualification of the undergraduate school and accept the pre-admission notice of the school, and introduced the key nodes and basic procedures of postgraduate education to the students in detail. Finally, Sun Jiayu mentioned that life is a wilderness rather than a racetrack, although the journey of professional learning is long, students should be busy and orderly to catch up with their work when they just entered the university, and must learn the lessons of predecessors to guard themselves, seek progress in stability, and go to their favorite distance.

In this experience sharing session, students heard the experiences of outstanding students around them, who provided valuable advice and guidance with their own experiences, and improved students' identity with their respective majors. Professional learning is not an easy road, but as long as the firm belief, clear goals, put into practice, you will be able to go further on this road.
