On the afternoon of November 29, 2023, the Department of Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering and the Department of Industrial Design of XuBeihong Art Academy carried out an exchange activity. Jin Jin, vice president of XuBeihong Art Academy, Xiong Zhixin, director of the Department of Shipping and Marine Engineering, and Wang Kai, director of the Department of Industrial Design attended the exchange meeting. Young teachers from the Department of Shipping and Marine Engineering participated in the exchange activity.
Jin Jin introduced the organizational structure, teaching staff, teaching and research work of XuBeihong Art Academy , and showed the graduation design works and portfolios of undergraduate students of Xu Beihong College of Art. He said that he hoped to strengthen the cooperation with the teachers of the Department of shipping and Sea in teaching work and scientific research projects in the future, and jointly generate high-quality results.
Xiong Zhixin introduced the research direction of the department of ship and sea, the faculty and the achievements of industry-university-research and the necessity of cooperation between the two sides. There are a lot of mutual cooperation between the Department of Marine Engineering and the Department of Industrial Design, which can form complementary research expertise and perfect integration of technology and aesthetics.
Through high-quality exchanges and cooperation, the two professional teachers earnestly implement the three guiding opinions and work together to promote professional construction and development.
