On the morning of November 26, the College of Ocean Science and Engineering welcomed the 03 alumni of the Department of Port and Navigation back to school. College of Ocean Science and Engineering President Feng Daoun, deputy Party Secretary Dong Chaoqun and other school leaders warmly welcomed the returning alumni.
At the symposium, Dean Feng Daolun introduced in detail the current situation of the college, professional development, faculty team and students to the alumni who had been separated from Hai University for 20 years. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the alumni for the development of the school and kindly invite you to visit us often. Subsequently, the alumni representative Dai Wenyuan made a speech, and returned to his Alma mater twenty years later, he was very emotional, very nostalgic for the past study and life, and more proud of the development of his Alma mater. Finally, the alumni exchanged views on their work and life, and expressed their recognition of their profession and gratitude to their Alma mater and teachers.
During the campus tour, the alumni personally felt the great changes of their Alma mater. Through the visit of the school history hall and the introduction of the school history interpreter, they were more familiar with the progress of their Alma mater, deeply felt the long journey and brilliant achievements of Haida were hard-won, and the pride and sense of belonging in their hearts came naturally. When they took a group photo, they seemed to return to 20 years ago, leaving a slightly awkward and beautiful smile in the photo.
Classmates and friends meet again, recall the past, there are endless acacia, endless way of students, warm welcome activities. Alumni are the valuable wealth and resources of the college, and they are also the most credible and reliable force for the Alma mater to move forward. The College will continue to increase its support for the work of alumni, and bring more alumni together to work together to promote the development of the college's various undertakings.
