From November 6 to 8, the sixth World Top Scientists Forum was held in Lingang Center, and 18 volunteers from the School of Ocean Science and Engineering actively participated in the volunteer service of the Dingke Forum. From the formal training on November 3 to the closing of the forum on November 8, the 6-day volunteer service contributed youth power to the successful closing of the entire forum.
Volunteers held positions such as preparation, news center, comprehensive reception, and material management, and carried out volunteer services such as forum operation coordination, media demand response, guest consultation and guidance, material management and distribution, logistics support, and site maintenance of sub-forums. The dedicated dedication and excellent performance of the volunteers were well received by the organizing committee of the Forum.
The volunteers said that they had the honor to participate as young volunteers, close contact with top scientists at home and abroad, enjoy the spirit of scientists, understand the frontier of scientific and technological development, broaden the vision of personal growth, and benefit a lot.
With the annual theme of Science Leads Transformation, Reshaping World Resilience, the forum focuses on five dimensions: cutting-edge science and technology, research paradigm, science and innovation ecology, cooperation model, and the future of science and education. Set up 21 special conferences such as Life Science Conference, Intelligent Science Conference, Carbon Conference, Young Scientists Conference, She forum, Mobius Forum, Science T Conference. Top scientists in relevant fields at home and abroad are invited to jointly plan solutions for the future, with a view to enhancing international cooperation and promoting scientific development through dialogue and exchanges at a time when common global problems are becoming increasingly complex and severe.
