On November 10, the Marine Environment Department of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering held a midterm teaching quality symposium. Mr. Lu Baoyi, director of the Department of Marine Environment, Mr. Ding Yi, secretary of the Party Branch of Marine Environment Students, and representatives of all grade members of environmental majors attended the meeting. Around the main suggestions put forward by the students, Mr. Lu Baoyi gave a detailed reply: the department will further negotiate with all teachers to optimize the curriculum. In addition, the content and time of the special lectures have been set, and this semester, the full-time teachers of the department will hold special lectures one after another to promote the effectiveness of collaborative education. For homework questions, we will pass on the relevant suggestions to the teachers. Students are also welcome to actively communicate with teachers before and after class and during office hours. According to the students' speeches, Ms. Ding Yi made a summary speech and gave relevant suggestions: It is hoped that while carrying out professional learning, students can actively participate in professional construction, professional activities and exchanges and academic research, so as to closely combine classroom learning with extracurricular practice and application, strengthen the cultivation of scientific and technological innovation ability and practical experiment ability, and realize the learning goal of integrating knowledge and action. In addition, we hope that you can come to the college building to communicate with the teachers of the department about their academic progress, discuss the current situation of the industry, and consult the cutting-edge subject issues.
