At 12:00 on October 31, the College of Ocean Science and Engineering launched the Psychology Salon for 2023 graduate students in the graduate student community.
The activity was carried out in the form of psychological salon, counselor Xu Jie came to the student dormitory 22, 23 building, the scene for each class psychological committee to explain how to carry out psychological work, and invited the dormitory administrator aunt 23 building to explain the dormitory rules and regulations. The aunt reminded the students to pay attention to the safety of electricity, pay attention to keeping the rest area clean, personal belongings are collected when used, and non-motor vehicles are parked according to regulations.
At the meeting, the psychological committee members of each class introduced themselves in turn and reported the distribution of dormitory staff of each class. Counselor Xu Jie first understood the mental health status of the students to the cardiac committee of each class, pointing out that when the students encountered psychological difficulties, the psychological committee should provide help at the first time and report to the counselor in time, and stressed the timely submission of monthly mental health reports. Secondly, she introduced the four-level network work system of mental health education in the school, guiding the psychological committee members of each class to be familiar with the work process, corresponding to the guidance group according to the network level, and solving problems in a hierarchical and efficient way. Finally, the counselor Xu Jie assigned the recent tasks to the psychological committee members of each class, contacted the dormitory leaders to talk, and gave relevant guidance and suggestions on how to effectively resolve the possible friction in the life of graduate students, promote harmonious classmate relations, and establish mental health concepts.
The activity was carried out on the platform of the student community, and the psychological committee members of each class took the opportunity of the symposium to communicate with the counselors and teachers face to face, learn to better deal with the problems of dormitory and class relations, and help other dormitories to jointly build a harmonious interpersonal relationship, jointly help the school to achieve harmony and stability, and promote the school psychological education work to play an effective role.
