On October 18, Feng Daolun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, led a team to visit the East China Sea Bureau Security Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Zhu Xiuping, Party committee member and chief engineer of the East China Sea Bureau Security Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources, and Wu Yichuan, deputy director of the East China Sea Development Research Institute of the Ministry of Natural Resources, received the college.
Feng Daolun introduced the main characteristics of the college and the research fields engaged in each specialty, hoping that the two sides can conduct in-depth exchanges and cooperation on ship inspection, Marine instrument and equipment testing, Marine ecological environment and other aspects in the future. Teachers of the College can also make full use of the advanced experimental platform of the East China Sea Support Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources to carry out scientific research in the Marine field and promote the professional characteristics and high-quality development of the discipline.
Zhu Xiuping welcomed the visit of the college and introduced the basic structure and main business areas of the East China Sea Bureau Support Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources, and expressed the willingness to strengthen scientific research cooperation in the fields of shipping and Marine environment.
After the meeting, the college and its delegation visited the hydrodynamic experiment platform and identification laboratory of the East China Sea Support Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources, including the towing tank, wave making tank, wind tunnel platform and other monitoring platforms of ships and Marine monitoring instruments.
