On the afternoon of September 26, 2023, Wang Weiyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Feng Daolun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of the college and relevant staff carried out safety inspections of the experimental centers and offices of the college, and the inspection was generally good.
During the inspection, rectification suggestions were put forward for the experimental block waste stacked in the building materials laboratory of the port and shipping, and relevant management regulations were required to be immediately formulated to prevent the occurrence of such problems. At the same time, large instruments and equipment were inspected. The situation of teachers' office accommodation which was regulated and adjusted last semester was checked.
Wang Weiyi secretary stressed that the experimental center should strictly implement the laboratory safety precautions to ensure the safety of the laboratory during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, all teachers and students who use the laboratory during the holiday, be sure to register in advance, and during the use of the laboratory, the staff on duty must be arranged to be responsible for the laboratory safety inspection management, to ensure the effective implementation of safety precautions and safety responsibilities.
President Feng Daolun requires that large precision instruments must be maintained and managed, and in the future, the laboratory layout must be planned in advance in the purchase process of instruments and equipment, as well as the subsequent maintenance costs, especially the experimental equipment that can be shared, do not repeat procurement to avoid causing idle instruments.
