In order to enhance students' safety awareness and take good safety precautions, on the afternoon of September 27, the College of Ocean Science and Engineering organized undergraduate and postgraduate safety education theme activities. Instructor Xu Jie gave a lecture, the college 2023 undergraduate and graduate students to participate offline, other grades of students to participate online.
At the meeting, Teacher Xu Jie, the instructor, explained four aspects of life safety, dormitory safety, laboratory safety and network security. First of all, Mr. Xu stressed that life safety is the premise of all activities, and only by ensuring life safety can we live and study normally. Secondly, the dormitory is the place where students live, and every student has the obligation to strictly abide by the dormitory safety management regulations, put an end to illegal electrical appliances, and realize the great significance of dormitory safety. Subsequently, in terms of laboratory safety, Mr. Xu mentioned that safety accidents in the laboratory also occurred frequently. In the actual experiment operation, we should strictly follow the operation specification process and report problems in time to avoid accidents. Finally, network security is also the top priority, Teacher Xu reminded students to pay attention to guard against network fraud through case analysis, improve vigilance to resist temptation, and protect life and property safety.
Safety knowledge and preventive skills are important components of college students' knowledge structure, safety awareness and safety responsibility are important contents of college students' humanistic quality. Strengthening safety education through carrying out safety education activities is conducive to improving students' safety awareness and self-prevention awareness, which is of great significance for creating a safe and harmonious campus and a safe and good campus environment.
