Recently, the final of the 12th National College Students Metallographic Skills Competition was held in Zhengzhou University. Our school participated in the competition for the first time and selected 21 undergraduates majoring in materials science and engineering to participate in it, and finally won 1 second prize and 4 third prizes.
The school attaches great importance to discipline competitions, actively organizes students to participate in them, and sets up a team of teachers with An Liqiong, Fan Chunhua, Guo Yanbing and Liu Boyang as guides. After rigorous training in theory and practice, Zhang Jiankai won the national second prize and Wang Yida, Jiang Kaiyang, Wei Yuxin and Li Xingyu won the national third prize. Ms. An Liqiong won the title of Excellent instructor.
The National College Students' Metallographic Skills Competition is sponsored by the Guiding Committee of Material Teaching in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education. It is recognized by the Chinese Association of Higher Education as a competition in the National Discipline Competition Rankings of Colleges and Universities. It is also an event with the greatest influence, the most sound system and the broadest coverage for materials majors, aiming to promote teaching, reform and learning through competition. Guide college students to become skilled in one skill and specialized in one profession. It is reported that this competition is the first time to use the first divided into 26 regions, and then concentrated final way, a total of 507 universities and 8361 players participated.
