On June 13th, the "Contemporary China Marine Equipment Series Exhibition • Part 2" - "Exploring the Deep Blue: China's Marine Scientific Research and Deep Diving Exhibition", guided by the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission and Shanghai Municipal Oceanic Bureau and co-hosted by the China Maritime Museum and Shanghai Ocean Management Affairs Center, was successfully launched. The Student Choir of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering was invited to attend the opening ceremony and performed I Love This Blue Ocean. The sonorous melody expressed the enthusiasm and firm confidence of the college's students in devoting themselves to the cause of building a maritime power, and was well-received by all present.
After the opening ceremony, the students also visited the themed exhibition together. Amid the rich exhibits and multi-sensory experiences combining sound, light and electricity, they felt the brilliant achievements made in China's contemporary marine scientific research and deep diving undertakings, understood the harmonious coexistence between humans and the ocean, inspired their passion and ambition to love and explore the ocean, strengthened marine awareness education, and attended a vivid themed league class.
