On June 8, the Marine Environment Department of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering held a symposium for graduates through an online conference format. The main personnel who participated in the meeting included: Lu Baoyi, director of the Department of Marine Environment, Ding Yi, secretary of the Party branch of Marine Environment students, Zhu Wenwu, a full-time teacher of the department of Marine Environment, and representatives of the graduating class of Environmental Grade 19. On the one hand, this symposium aims to understand the current situation of the graduating class and provide suggestions and guidance for internship, employment and further study. On the other hand, it also hopes that the students can provide valuable suggestions for the school and the department to jointly promote the deepening development of the major. Through communication, students combined with the experience of four years of learning, put forward a lot of ideas conducive to professional construction, but also for the growth of lower grade students gave suggestions and directions. The participating teachers also sent sincere wishes and messages to the graduating class of Grade 19 who have been committed to helping and caring for the construction and development of the department: I would like to thank the graduating students for their exemplary role in daily study, work and life. Before leaving school, they also actively imparted the experience of postgraduate entrance examination and job hunting to the lower grade students. I hope that after entering the society, the students will continue to maintain their good habits of learning, actively exert their sense of social responsibility and mission, and be a model for young students. Contact the department and teachers whenever and wherever you need them, and the Department will always be there to help and guide you as you grow. Come back to the College of Ocean Science and Engineering often!
