In order to further enhance the students' awareness of fraud prevention, so that the students have a deep understanding of the common means of fraud, learn to recognize the method of fraud, improve the students' ability to prevent fraud, protect the safety of student property, solid do a good job of campus security. On April 2, 2023, College of Ocean Science and Engineering undergraduate Class 2022 conducted anti-fraud education themed Be your own 'Security Officer' in Bangjian Lecture Hall, lected by instructor Lei Mengyu and attended by all Class 2022 students.
Lei teacher explain recent campus fraud examples to warn the students pie in the sky with traps, telecom fraud to pay attention to, let the students personally experienced the current variety, emerge in an endless way of fraud. At the same time, remind the students to do in the prevention of telecom fraud : Do not randomly add strange QQ, wechat and other unknown phone sources, do not disclose to strangers and their family ID information, deposit, bank account, etc., receive unknown information to do not believe, do not transfer, do not remit, encounter suspicious situation in time to communicate with parents, counselors or call the police.
Through the do your own 'security officer' theme education activities, to popularize the knowledge of telecom network fraud to students, improve the majority of students network security awareness and prevention skills, further promote the construction of a safe campus.
