In order to strengthen the labor education of college students in the new era, cultivate students to set up correct labor values. Recently, the Youth League Committee of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, together with the Logistics center of the university, organized student representatives to become kitchen experience officers and conducted a special experience activity. The student representatives walked into the familiar but unfamiliar canteen, and experienced the preparation, processing and production of canteen meals at close range.
This experience activity mainly includes visiting the kitchen of the canteen, understanding the daily work and standardized operation process of the canteen, etc. Under the guidance of the canteen staff, the experience officers take good health protection and enter the kitchen. They have visited the vegetable processing area, meat processing area, sample area and other functional areas of the canteen, according to the six T demonstration canteen construction standards, from the identification chart, visual management, standard storage, cleaning, dry ground, all kinds of records and other aspects of understanding, further observed the kitchen staff of the canteen cutting, cooking, food processing and other work links. During this period, the canteen manager not only seriously answered the questions raised by the student representatives, but also introduced in detail the canteen tableware cleaning and disinfection procedures, food processing operation procedures and other safety management measures as well as the future dish innovation plan. The student representatives said that after visiting the strict operation process of the kitchen in person, they deeply realized the difficulty of food preparation and the hard work of the canteen staff. Some students also said that they would actively share the experience of the kitchen in the canteen with other students and earnestly practice the CD-ROM action.
This activity aims to conduct labor education through experiential teaching, which is an exploration and attempt to organically integrate labor education with students' campus life and daily personal life. Not only let the students fully understand the situation of the standardized management of food safety in the canteen, but also let the students gradually feel the logistics work is not easy in practice, strengthen the mutual understanding and understanding between the students and the canteen, students and logistics, to ensure the effective integration of labor education and the actual life of students.
